According to Opensecrets.org data, FTX.US is one of the top diners in the 2020 election cycle – contributing $5.2 million to Biden’s presidential election campaign against Donald Trump.
The AP has, at this point, along with CNN and other news outlets, called the election for Joe Biden. Opensecret.org specifies that the donation “came from the organizations’ PACs; their individual members, employees or owners; and those individuals’ immediate families.”
Bankman-Fried’s political contribution was reported by several mainstream media but was largely unnoticed by the crypto news space.
Other Biden contributors include Renaissance Technologies and Simon Property Group.
