eToro launches CopyTrade feature! eToro launches CopyTrade which will allow US users of eToro to automatically copy trades from top cryptocurrency traders!
eToro, an Israeli-based social trading platform, made the announcement today. Nicholas Merten of DataDash, RhythmTrader, and Ben Askren are some of the traders that users can copy. eToro boasts 11 million registered users from more than 140 countries – they all contribute towards over $1 trillion in volume per year for the platform.
“CopyTrader can help anyone to build their wealth in a simple and transparent way. Users who want to leverage the crypto asset class can now simply look for an investor with a proven track record and just hit copy to execute the same trades automatically,” said Guy Hirsch, US managing director of eToro.
Yoni Assia, earlier this year, had indicated that the firm was planning on bringing its CopyTrader feature to US users “very soon”. To that end, eToro has recruited Alec Baldwin to market the CopyTrader feature and has paid a significant sum for it. In the video, Baldwin calls amateur investors in the cryptocurrency space and urges them to start using CopyTrader to get the ball rolling.
eToro launched in the United States earlier this year. eToro compensates “crypto influencers” and “top-performing” cryptocurrency investors for being copied by users, per Tuesday’s announcement.
