Ethereum 2.0 Onyx continues forward with its Testnet Launch! Ethereum 2.0 Onyx – an improvement from the previous Topaz Testnet, was launched by Prysmatic Labs.
According to an announcement by Prysmatic Labs, the Onyx testnet is the last update before the launch of the official Ethereum 2.0 mainnet. This latest update will also support multiple client software distributions.
Onyx improves the network message handling and complies with the latest Ethereum 2.0 specifications. Prysmatic Labs announced that they will soon turn off its Topaz validator nodes and start sending deposits to initiate staking on the Onyx network.
