It’s estimated that there are around 11,666 crypto ATMs throughout the world. This represents a significant increase from the year prior, when the number of crypto ATMs was estimated at around 6372 at year end of 2019. This represents a nearly 80% increase in crypto ATMs.
The United States is the ATM leader, with 9242 crypto ATMs. The United States accounts for about 79.2% of the total number of crypto ATMs in the world.
The places one can find a crypto ATM is also diversifying. Crypto ATMs can be found in small shops, shopping centers, and in one instance, even in the Tesla Gigafactory.
Canada is next with 880 ATMs, the UK a with 268, Hong Kong with 62, and Columbia, which has 59.
Significant growth in the number of Crypto ATMs just shows that retail buyers and financial institutions are hopping aboard the crypto train.
