Binance launches Russian Ruble Trading!  Binance launches Russian Ruble Trading – allowing users to deposit and withdraw in RUB.  The launch was silent and it started yesterday.

Changpeng Zhao (CZ) revealed that Ruble trading is live with a Tweet that was sent out today.

CZ noted that the launch of the Russian Ruble was released silently and in conjunction with his acknowledgement that Russia is one of the biggest markets of Binance.

Binance is the most popular cryptocurrency exchange in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus according to a recent Forklog survey.  Nearly 60% of respondents on the survey claim that they prefer Binance rather than other crypto exchanges.

When CZ was asked as to why that might be, he responded by saying that Binance is just meeting demand by adapting their products to their local language.

In conjunction with this announcement, there are unconfirmed reports that Russia’s internet ombudsman is planning on launching a new Bitcoin mining facility to mine 20% of the global Bitcoin supply remaining.

Crypto remains unregulated in Russia.  CZ expressed his confidence that the bill on regulating digital currencies in the Russian Federation will be adopted in the foreseeable future.
