If you have a Ledger Nano S, you know they are not the most user friendly wallets out there. It took some time to get it setup and get accustomed to pairing it with Google Apps.
There’s a ton of little steps you need to do in order to get it synced & it’s a pain in the ass to setup.
I’ve been saying for awhile, we need more user friendly hardware wallets before mass adoption occurs. If I gave my Baby Boomer parents a Ledger, they would not be able to figure it out!
We need something that’s more simplistic!
The other day Ledger introduced a new user interface for their hardware wallets. They are going to be releasing their own Desktop App in Q2 2018 and the Mobile App in Q3 2018.
This is a BIG step in the right direction!
Anyone with more than $5000 should be actively using a hardware wallet. It’s the safest way to store your cryptocurrency. I prefer Ledger because of the wide selection of altcoins they offer.
