Litecoin UFC partnership announced! The Litecoin Foundation has partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to promote cryptocurrency.
The deal between Litecoin and the UFC will result in the Litecoin logo being displayed on the fighting canvas at UFC 232, an event upcoming featuring a rematch between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson. The fight is scheduled to take place this Saturday in California.
The first crypto sponsor for a UFC event, The Litecoin Foundation said “millions of viewers” at events like UFC will help raise global awareness, drive interest in Litecoin, and push mass adoption.
“With brands and institutions continuing to push into cryptocurrency and blockchain, this is yet another signal of this technology moving closer towards the mainstream,” it continued.
The Litecoin Foundation also said that they hope to continue their relationship with the UFC. The Litecoin Foundation was founded to increase awareness of cryptocurrency.
