Poloniex removes AML KYC requirements! In a stunning move, Poloniex removes AML KYC requirements, allowing anyone to trade hundreds of crypto’s and tokens with just an email address and password.
“Starting now, all new customers can sign up and begin trading using only an email address and password. Any customers who sign up from here on out can begin trading in seconds with a Level 1 account,” they say, further adding:
“With Level 1, you’ll have access to unlimited trading, unlimited deposits, and $10,000 per day in withdrawals.”
All accounts frozen for being unverified are now being unfrozen in a peculiar and unique move for a crypto exchange.
This decision comes right after Justin Sun infused a major cash investment into the exchange. Justin Sun is the founder of Tron.
Could this be the work of Justin Sun? We do not know, but we already know what happened when Justin felt besmirched by DBG – the token got delisted on the exchange.
The exchange has banned United States residents from accessing the exchange – but that was most likely to avoid getting out of the United States’ jurisdiction and ever confusing red tape. However AML and KYC requirements are global.
