Roger Ver ousted as CEO of Bitcoin.com! Roger Ver ousted from his position as CEO, and now he’s listed as the “Executive Chairman”. Stefan Rust has replaced Ver as the CEO.
So it seems @rogerkver is no longer CEO of https://t.co/vkLImCsPWG… did he finally exit scam BCrash? pic.twitter.com/pYjxmTPXIr

Rust’s LinkedIn page indicated that his prior position with Bitcoin.com was as the Corporate and Business Development Chief. There has been no organizational change announcement by the company.
Ver and Bitcoin.com have both been under intense scrutiny over claims that Ver and Bitcoin.com tries to deceive people into thinking BCH (Bitcoin Cash) is BTC (Bitcoin). Ver is a big proponent of Bitcoin Cash and touts its superiority over BTC.
Ver’s removal is very similar to another well known cryptocurrency company – Bitmain. In late 2018, we had noted that Bitmain was undergoing an organizational restructuring when Wu (a very close ally of Ver) exited his position as CEO.
Questions abound following the news with no announcement, official or otherwise, from Bitcoin.com. The rumors include the idea that Ver is exiting the BCH shilling. WhalePanda went so far as saying that it’s a good idea to let someone else take the fall.
Classic move. Letting someone else take the fall.https://t.co/yjMcLEmfv4

Other rumors indicate that Ver might’ve been forced out as CEO from his own website due to the company looking to launch an exchange platform. Ver’s previous defense of Mark Karpeles, the former Mt. Gox chief, might not project the image that the new platform would hope it would.
Ver is known as a fierce cryptocurrency evangelist. Before the split from BTC to form BCH, Ver was known as “Bitcoin Jesus.” He was also instrumental in the BCH vs. BSV hash war that occurred late last year. He sided with Wu, who as stated earlier was the CEO of BitMain, against Calvin Ayre and Craig S Wright.
